Our Veterinary Team

Our commitment is to provide quality veterinary care throughout the life of your pet. We treat your pet as we would our own.

Tannetje Crocker, DVM

Dr. Tannetje Crocker is the new owner of Alta Vista Animal Hospital. She is a 2009 graduate of Texas A&M Veterinary School. After graduation, she spent a year in California, completing a veterinary internship. She then returned to her hometown, Keller, Texas, to continue her veterinary career.

After graduation, Dr. Crocker specialized in equine medicine. After having her first child, she focused on small animal medicine in general practice and emergency clinics.

Dr. Crocker and her husband, Shane, have two children, Isabella and Corbin. Their four-legged children include; Ranger, a lab, and Mr. Bobby, the cat. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, watching sports, and barbecuing by the pool. She enjoys speaking and educating the public and fellow professionals about having a career in veterinary medicine.

Fun fact. Dr. Crocker is a graduate of Keller High School and is very excited to serve the community she grew up in.

Stephanie A, DVM

Dr. Hutchison cares for the needs of cats and dogs. Caring for your pets is Dr. Hutchison’s number one focus and passion, from vaccines to small animal surgeries. Before Dr. Hutchison became a doctor, she worked at Alta Vista as a Tech since high school. She attended Texas A&M for veterinary school and graduated in 1998. She came back to Alta Vista in 2005 and has been here since.

Dr.Hutchison has five dogs: Jane, Kate, Myrtle, Rosebud, and Steve. She has nine horses, a pony named Ruby, a donkey named Buford, and too many cows to count.
